For each course of any programme, credit specification is given in the Scheme of Examination. 20 Marks for each course of any programme.
Each student should submit two assignments and each assignment carries 10 marks. There is no minimum passing mark for assignment. This is applicable in the case of practical course also and it shall be assessed during Practical Sessions and reported afterwards.
Passing minimum is 40% for UG programmes:
For any UG course, a student should score a minimum of 32 marks in external examination (i.e., 40% of the external 80 marks) with an aggregate of 40 marks in each subject.
Passing minimum is 50% for PG programmes:
For PG courses, a student should score a minimum of 40 marks in external examination (i.e., 50% of the external 80 marks) with an aggregate of 50 marks in each subject.
Any student of either UG or PG has to complete the course within a maximum period of N + 2 years i.e., for UG Courses 5 years (3+2), PG courses 4 years (2+2), PG Courses of 3 years duration 5 years (3+2).
