S.A.V Sahaya Thai Arts and Science (Women) College is yet another offspring of Manilal Nadar Trust to bring up young girls as confident, strong and empowered women with the best teaching faculty, infrastructure and facilities. The institution is run efficiently by Dr. M. Graham Bell M.Sc., the Secretary, Mr. M. Aravind, Mr. M. Thivaharan, Mr. M. Kumaresan, the Directors of the institution, the Principal of the institution and the Vice-Principal of the institution who administer all the administrative duties admirably by working together like beads tied in a string for the well-being of the students. It is remarkable to note that the Principal is a veteran in this field and she guides the institution like a pole star.

All campus is well planned with infrastructure like academic buildings, adminstration wing, central library, hostels, guest house,swimming pool and play grounds. Amrita also provides uninterrupted power and water supply round the clock.

Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a holistic lifestyle with activities like yoga, sports and extra-curricular activities.

Sports provide an excellent opportunity for students to learn good interaction and sportsmanship skills. The Department of Physical Education coordinates sports and games of all Schools on campus. Intra-mural competitions, annual lthletic meets, inter-campus tournaments are regularly organized in table-tennis, badminton (shuttle), volley ball, foot ball, etc.

‘SAV Sahaya Thai Dispensary’ works inside the campus round the clock providing medical service to the students, staff and villagers. The dispensary has ten beds for the in-patients. Basic medical care, pharmacy with adequate medicines, facilities like ECG Machine, Nebulisar, Oxygen cylinders, Defibrillator, ECG monitor & Pulse OXYmeter and first aid are provided in the health care unit. Cases which require immediate hospitalization and special medical attention ar referred to the nearby welln known hospitals. Two ambulances are readily available in the clinic for emergency.
